While our on-site estimates are free to come out and assess, we do charge for the 3D design images ($125/ea). You do not have to have a 3D image to get a quote. However, if we do the installation work then the fee for the images is waived. If you choose not to have us proceed with the work, then it is your option to purchase the 3D designs and/or roll it into a D-I-Y Package.
We typically schedule our appointments to meet with you Monday through Friday at 4:30/5pm or after. We will be coming from our current job so the time sometimes varies depending on when we can wrap up the day.
Unless we have a pretty cut and dry verbal plan, we like to provide 3D design(s) to ensure we are all on the same page before proceeding. This essentially allows you to "try it on" before you commit. This process takes anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks depending on the size of the project.
The 3D designs are $125/per design image (typically there are 1-3 on average depending on the job). This fee is waived if you choose to have us do the landscape installation. If you decide not to have us do the work, you would be responsible to purchase each 3D design provided, or you can roll them into a D-I-Y Package.
Once we arrive at the agreed upon design an Estimate will be figured up and provided to you electronically. This process usually takes 1-3 days from approval of the design. It can sometimes take a little longer if we need to search out materials we don't typically work with on a regular basis.
If you are planning to have us do the work in phases, please let us know up front so we can break the estimates down into the phases rather than quote you the entire project all at once.
This process can vary from project to project depending on the size. We are often booked out 3 to 4 months in advance.
Larger jobs that require more than 2 weeks will sometimes need to be booked out further in order to find a larger block of available time. Because of this, we are always happy to work larger projects in phases. Breaking a large job down into phases will require a Phase breakdown in the quote to account for any separate equipment rental and delivery fees.
Smaller jobs can often be squeezed in between some of the larger jobs on the schedule since we factor in buffer days for weather delays, etc. We strive to do our best to try and meet your needs. Always feel free to ask any questions or express concerns along the way.
Upon acceptance of the quote(s), we ask for a retainer (the materials amount) be due at the time of scheduling. This allows us to go ahead and begin the buying/reserving process for your project to ensure best availability and securing your spot on the calendar.
Checks should be made payable to Create-A-Scape NC, 6367 State Highway 96, Youngsville, NC 27596
We also accept electronic payment via Venmo, Zelle or CashAp.
NOTE: We can no longer hold space on the calendar without a commitment - the retainer payment.
START DATE: Kim will notify you as the time draws near to begin your project. We will arrive as scheduled to do your project. If your start date has numerous pick ups, etc. and depending on the completion of the job ahead of you, it is possible you won't see us on site until the 2nd day, but you will be kept informed along the way. You will also be notified of all deliveries so that cars can be out of the way. If there are any supply or weather delays that affect the schedule you will be kept informed.
ADJUSTMENTS: As noted on the Estimate, Create A Scape NC reserves the right to make necessary plant adjustments based on nursery availability as well as other materials. We always strive to maintain the requirements and aesthetic quality of the design. Since prices are subject to change without notice. Any significant changes will be discussed prior to moving ahead. We will also keep you informed of any changes affecting the budget that we run into during the process. These often come about once we get into the project.
PLANT WARRANTY: We do not guarantee any transplanted plants. All perennials have a 1 year warranty EXCEPT palms, and sod have no warranty.
Once the job is completed we expect to collect the final balance (Total Labor) amount and any material price changes and/or overages since the time of the quote. If there were any adjustments to the balance as noted in the previous, Step 6, you will be provided an itemized Invoice reflecting the changes from the original Estimate prior to or on the completion day.
